Psalms 96 Study & Commentary
Psalm 96 is a missionary call to "sing unto the Lord a new song" and to declare His glory among the heathen, for He cometh to judge the world with righteousness.
CONTEMPORARY APPLICATIONS
1. The New Song: Each generation must discover a fresh expression of praise for God’s ancient mercies (v. 1).2. The Vanity of Idols: All the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens (v. 5).
