Chapter Study & Analysis

Psalm 65 praises God for His provision in nature, describing Him as the One who stilled the noise of the seas and crowns the year with His goodness.

CONTEMPORARY APPLICATIONS

1. The Confidence of all the Earth: God is the hope of "all the ends of the earth" (v. 5). His providence is global.
2. Abundance in Nature: God "visitest the earth, and waterest it" (v. 9). We should be thankful for the daily cycles of provision.

FORMAL PRAYER

Praise waiteth for Thee, O God, in Sion. Thou crownest the year with Thy goodness; Thy paths drop fatness upon the pastures of the wilderness. Amen.
