Chapter Study & Analysis

Psalm 68 is a majestic hymn of God’s triumphal procession. It describes Him as a "father of the fatherless" and the One who led captivity captive.

CONTEMPORARY APPLICATIONS

1. Care for the Vulnerable: God is a judge of the widows and a father to the fatherless (v. 5). This is the heart of true religion.
2. Daily Benefits: "Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits" (v. 19). We should count our daily mercies.

FORMAL PRAYER

Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered! We praise Thee, O Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Amen.
