Chapter Study & Analysis

Psalm 94 is an appeal to the "God to whom vengeance belongeth" to shine forth against the proud who afflict His people and slay the widow.

CONTEMPORARY APPLICATIONS

1. God Sees and Hears: He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? (v. 9). This is a rebuke to those who think God is indifferent to injustice.
2. The Comfort of God: In the multitude of my thoughts within me "thy comforts delight my soul" (v. 19).

FORMAL PRAYER

Lord, how long shall the wicked triumph? The Lord is our defence; and our God is the rock of our refuge. Amen.
