Overview
Psalm 101 is David’s vow of integrity. He resolves to walk within his house with a perfect heart and to remove all wicked and deceitful people from his presence.
CONTEMPORARY APPLICATIONS
1. Integrity at Home: "I will walk within my house with a perfect heart" (v. 2). True character is proven in private before it is seen in public.2. The Eyes of the Faithful: We should surround ourselves with faithful people and refuse to set any "wicked thing" before our eyes.
Practical Lessons
FORMAL PRAYER
I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing. Grant us a perfect heart to walk in Thy ways and keep us from the deceit of the wicked. Amen.
