Psalms 134 Study & Commentary

Psalm 134 is the final Psalm of Degrees, a call for the servants of the Lord who stand in His house by night to lift up their hands and bless the Lord.

CONTEMPORARY APPLICATIONS

1. Worship in the Night: God is to be blessed even "by night" (v. 1). Praise should be constant, regardless of the hour.
2. Blessing the Lord: We bless God with our praise, and He blesses us "out of Zion."

FORMAL PRAYER

Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord. Amen.
