Psalms 48 Study & Commentary
Psalm 48 praises the beauty and security of Mount Zion, the city of the Great King, as a symbol of God’s presence and protection.
CONTEMPORARY APPLICATIONS
1. Great is the Lord: He is "greatly to be praised" (v. 1). Our worship should reflect the greatness of His character.2. Our Guide unto Death: This God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide even unto death (v. 14).
