Psalm 145 is a majestic alphabetical psalm of praise. David extols God’s greatness, goodness, and His kingdom that endures through all generations.

CONTEMPORARY APPLICATIONS

1. Greatness Unsearchable: His greatness is "unsearchable" (v. 3). We will spend eternity discovering new depths of God’s character.
2. God is Nigh: The Lord is "nigh unto all them that call upon him... in truth" (v. 18). Accessibility is a hallmark of His kingdom.

FORMAL PRAYER

I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee. Amen.
