Chapter Study & Analysis

Psalm 107 tells the stories of various people in trouble (wanderers, prisoners, the sick, sailors) who cried out to God and were delivered.

CONTEMPORARY APPLICATIONS

1. The Cry of the Redeemed: "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so" (v. 2). Testimony is a requirement of redemption.
2. He Sent His Word: God heals through His Word (v. 20). The Word of God is the instrument of deliverance and restoration.

FORMAL PRAYER

Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! Thank Thee for quieting the storm. Amen.
