Psalms 138 Study & Commentary

Psalm 138 is a song of praise for God’s Word and His responsiveness. David declares that God has magnified His Word above all His name.

CONTEMPORARY APPLICATIONS

1. Magnified Word: God has exalted His Word even above His name (v. 2), showing its supreme authority.
2. Strength in the Soul: When we cry, God answers and strengthens us with "strength in my soul" (v. 3).
