Psalms 100 Study & Commentary

Psalm 100 is the "Psalm of Praise," a brief but powerful call for all lands to serve the Lord with gladness and to enter His gates with thanksgiving.

CONTEMPORARY APPLICATIONS

1. Know the Lord is God: We are His people and the "sheep of his pasture" (v. 3). Acknowledging His ownership is the basis of joy.
2. Enduring Mercy: His mercy is "everlasting" and His truth endureth to "all generations" (v. 5).

FORMAL PRAYER

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good. Amen.
