Chapter Study & Analysis

Psalm 93 celebrates the reign of God. It declares that the Lord is clothed with majesty and that His throne is established of old, being mightier than the "noise of many waters."

CONTEMPORARY APPLICATIONS

1. The Lord Reigneth: No matter how the floods lift up their voice, "the Lord on high is mightier" (v. 4).
2. Holiness Becometh Thy House: God’s dwelling and His people must be characterized by holiness for ever (v. 5).

FORMAL PRAYER

The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty. Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever. Amen.
