Psalms 124 Study & Commentary
Psalm 124 acknowledges that if it had not been for the Lord who was on Israel's side, their enemies would have swallowed them up; it celebrates God as our help.
CONTEMPORARY APPLICATIONS
1. If Not For the Lord: We must recognize that our survival in the face of spiritual and physical enemies is due solely to God’s presence (v. 1-2).2. The Broken Snare: "The snare is broken, and we are escaped" (v. 7). God is the expert at making a way where there is no way.
