Genesis 1 Study & Commentary
Genesis 1 reveals the majestic work of God in bringing the heaven and the earth into existence from a state that was "without form, and void". God establishes divine order by dividing light from darkness and forming the firmament. On the fourth day, He made "two great lights" to rule the day and night. The creation culminates in Man, made in God’s own image, given dominion over all the earth.
