Chapter Study & Analysis

On the first day of the first month, the Tabernacle is reared. Moses sets the furniture in place and anoints everything. When the work is finished, the cloud covered the tent and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. Moses was not able to enter because of the glory. The cloud by day and fire by night guided Israel through all their journeys.
1. The Goal of Redemption: God did not just bring them out of Egypt; He brought them to Himself, to dwell in their midst.
2. God Validates Obedience: The Cloud and the Glory were the visible proof that God accepted their work and their worship.
3. Guidance for the Journey: We are never left to wander alone; the same God who dwells with us is the God who leads us step by step.
