Overview
Moses gathers the congregation and calls for a willing offering. Men and women bring gold, silver, brass, blue, purple, scarlet, and fine linen. The people’s hearts are stirred, and they bring a "willing offering" unto the LORD for all the work of the Tabernacle.
Practical Lessons
1. A Stirred Heart: God loves a cheerful giver; the most effective ministry is funded by those whose hearts are truly moved by God.
2. Everyone has a Part: From the rulers bringing precious stones to the women spinning goats' hair, everyone contributed their unique skill.
3. Consecrated Talent: Our hobbies and trades (weaving, carving, building) are meant to be consecrated for the service of the Lord.
